10si series alternator

1968-1983

This was the first internally regulated Alternator to be used by GM. Replacing the externally regulated 10DN. The first vehicle to use the 10Si was the Corvette in 1969. The internal regulator combined with improved design allowed for much greater output and a smaller size.
